Art director/creative designer, Dan Madsen, has over 30 years experience excelling at graphic design, web design, illustration and photography. For 12 years, Dan was the director of creative print services for Sony Pictures Entertainment, working on well over 200 films, such titles as Spider-Man 1, 2 & 3, Men in Black I & II and Stuart Little 1 & 2. Most recently he was an Art Director for Wizard World Comic Con (40+ shows). Dan’s aesthetic for clean, eye-popping presentation, coupled with his ability to capture the personalities of his photographic subjects, guarantee spectacular design work, but his talents don’t stop there. Dan is also a pleasure to work with: Consultative, receptive, adaptive and creative in his approach to helping clients achieve their objectives.

Dan is a native of Whittier, California. His earliest influences were Andy Warhol and photographer Jeff Brouws, two artists whose work was inspired by their simplicity and graphic quality. He then attended college at Cypress Junior College earning his AA degree. Soon after he attended The Art Institute of Southern California, Laguna Beach. While in his fifth year of college he worked as a photojournalist with The Mountain News in Lake Arrowhead, California. After three years as head of the photography department, Dan began his career with Sony Pictures Entertainment. Then after 12 years with Sony, he decided to embark on a new journey of freelancing.

Dan currently lives in Goodyear, Arizona with his wife Edyta, four daughters, Alyssa (23), Dylon (21), Ellie (6), Ivy (4) and his son, Janek (10).
